TO WHOM AM I LISTENING?

Hello, and welcome to Bake It Off!

The Bake It Off Podcast began with way too much kitchen narration - when there was actually no one else in the kitchen. Now, that kitchen narration is out for you to hear!

 

My name is Addie, and I'm a home baker. I bake for myself, for my family, for my friends, and for anyone who loves to eat! (Including my dog.)

​

I love the science, method, and history of baking, and I love to share it with the world. I want to know why you have to keep your butter cold in pie crust, what the "double acting" part of "double acting baking powder" actually is, and why garbanzo bean juice acts like egg whites (what sort of kitchen witchery is that?). Also, I want to eat every dessert in the world.
